Doctors' Appointments

48-hour access

We plan to offer all patients with a new medical problem either an appointment or a telephone consultation within 48 hours.

If your appointment is for review of an ongoing medical condition you will be offered the first routine appointment with the doctor you usually see.

We offer appointments up to 4 weeks ahead and would advise you to book in advance. Appointments are allocated at 10-minute intervals. If you feel you need longer with the doctor, please ask the receptionist for a double appointment. This should help to prevent surgeries running late.
Extended opening hours

The Practice opens late one evening per week for pre booked appointments only.  The Practice Nurses provide late appointments also. 

FAILING TO ATTEND APPOINTMENTS

Many hours of consulting time is wasted by patients who fail to attend appointments. Therefore the Practice has adopted a strict policy for removing patients who persistently fail to attend or fail to cancel appointments and you will be asked to register with another Practice.
